If you love crisp, bright white wines, look no further than Alto Adige in Northeast Italy. This Kerner from Abbazia di Novacella has a super aromatic nose of yellow flower and peach. On the palate, it’s a medium-bodied white with peach, apricot and sweet apple notes, nicely balanced with crisp acidity and minerality. Kerner is a crossing of Trollinger and Riesling. I picked this up at Con’ Olio for about $25.
