This pretty Chenin Blanc expresses its stony, flinty, chalky soils with terrific minerality along with notes of ripe pear, yellow apple, lemon and yellow flowers. While rich on the palate, the grape’s natural acidity makes this a fresh, bright white wine.

Chenin is a super versatile grape responsible for lean, racy whites and aromatic bubbles and sweet dessert wines. Common flavors are yellow apple, pear and honey. Chenin is most notably associated with the Loire Valley in France, but you will also find beautiful expressions from South Africa, California and Washington.

A great value at $20 from Spec’s.
